Almost every time we go out to take photos I've been making double exposures =) Film is magical on it's own and adding a few simple techniques can make some truly magical photographs.   This batch of photographs from one single outing are some of my favorites now =) Always thankful for each adventure <3           The above photo was taken on an overpass of a walking/bicycle path in Clearwater, Florida. The Pinellas trails spans quite a while and I've got to admit, we didn't go too far from the overpass... can you blame me? I got some awesome shots!   If you use your hand to cover the bottom half of the photo it's easier to make out that you're looking a metal semi-circle cover on a pedestrian bridge. I employed the multiple exposure function on my Lomography automat camera and snapped the first photo. I then, flipped the camera upside down and took my second photo. ...

One of the things I dislike about Florida is the lack of autumn foliage change. That's why I v-lined for this tree (or over grown bush?) when I spotted its golden-burnt orange tops peering out to me from a small hill.    Automat Camera - Fijifilm Instax Mini Fisheye Lens (plastic)  - Automat Camera

360 Inversion  We recently took a trip out to Aripeka, Fl. and had the pleasure of taking a hike on a nearly cloudless day. 360 Car Ride  We were feeling a little risky that day and tried our luck at filming while driving down the road. We took it easy and were pleased with the outcome.     Aha! We spotted a trail and a small parking lot.        We've got the gear! Strapped up and ready to go, we hit the trail in search of some pretty scenery.    Automat Camera - Instant Fujifilm Mini iPhone 5 Eureka! We found water!   Add caption     This is the part that I had to ask J to turn the camera off because the car was too far away and nature was calling...       *All spherical and inverted photographs were taken with a 360 camera.

His lens through mine.         This picture was created using a Lomography Automat camera. If you have an instax or polaroid camera that has the option to take multiple exposures then this is something I suggest you try!       By selecting the multiple exposure feature on my camera I sought out for J's camera. I waited until he was done taking is photo and I proceeded to commandeer his camera and his tripod so I could  align it with the sun.    Whenever I take a double exposure, I try to get an extreme silhouette by using my subject to block the sun (or other light source) behind it. This way, the second photo I take will have more spots to fill. Remember, the second photo you take will appear most in the dark spots of the first photo.       When I purchased this camera I opted for the full lens package. When ever the fisheye lens is used with this camera it leaves...

We had the opportunity to go   on an adventure to Boone, North Carolina! This has certainly been one of our favorite adventures yet <3 The above and bellow pictures were taken at The Blowing Rock; a natural rock formation 3,000 feet above the gorge bellow in North Carolina. Ripley's Believe it or Not ! named it the only place on Earth where snow falls upside down.   I'll never forget the view nor the immense wind that it's named after! The shadows that you see on the bottom of the above picture are actually created from the observatory deck and a coin operated binocular.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Inn at Crestwood in Boone/Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The views were stunning! Blowing Rock is a town we could surely get used to.     http://crestwoodnc.com/
